At a thank-you meet held in Hyderabad, Ram Charan spoke about the growing box office momentum of 'Peddi', which has already surpassed Rs 300 crore worldwide. Reflecting on the audience response, the actor made a striking claim about where the film stands in his filmography.



The Hindustan Times quoted him saying, "I chose a calm theatre in our city, but the reaction from the audience for scenes has made my day. I am getting claps for certain scenes, which I didn't expect. In fact, this film will be placed first or second in my film library."

The statement did not go down well with a significant section of Ram Charan's fanbase. Many took to social media to express their disappointment, pointing out that ranking 'Peddi' above or on par with landmark films like 'RRR', 'Magadheera', and 'Rangasthalam' was a disservice to his work with iconic directors.
