The film that is aiming for a release during summer in May, was launched on Wednesday at a muhurat that saw

come in his ‘double dimaak Hyderabadi’ avatar. The actor, who was last seen in ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’ is seen sporting a more ‘mass’ look in printed shirts and torn jeans while sporting facial hair and a spiky hair-do. Also seemingly always with a gun in tow, the first look poster of the film was received extremely well by fans.

‘iSmart Shankar’ will see music by Mani Sharma and cinematography by

. The film will also star Puneeth Issar,

Sathya Dev

, Milind Gunaji, Ashish vidyarthi, Get-up Srinu, Sudanshu Pandey, Madhu Singampalli, Kuldeep Singh and Deepak Shetty in key roles. It remains to be seen who will play the female lead in the film.
