Rakul Preet Singh's upcoming projects clarified amid rumours of her starring in Mohan Babu's Son of India

Recently, there were rumours that Rakul Preet Singh has given her nod to star in Diamond Ratnababu’s Mohan Babu starrer Son of India.
However, the actress’ manager Harinath issued a clarification about all her upcoming movies. “Currently Rakul Preet has multiple films lined up across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industries while there are some rumours about her future projects making it to the headlines,” he said, denying reports and listing out the films that she is officially a part of.
Rakul will play the role of an advocate in Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s Check, with Nithiin and Priya Prakash Varrier as her co-stars. She plays a village belle in an untitled film by Krish with Panja Vaishnav Tej as her co-star. Shooting for the same was wrapped up recently. Apart from that, she also has a Tamil film with Sivakarthikeya and interestingly, Shankar’s Kamal Haasan, Rakul, Kajal Aggarwal and Siddharth starrer Indian 2 wasn’t mentioned. Apart from this, Rakul has three Bollywood films in the pipeline. She has films with Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn.
Rakul recently took a relaxing vacation to the Maldives with her brother Aman Preet Singh and parents to celebrate their anniversary. She recently returned back to Mumbai with them and was clicked at the airport. She will presumably come to Hyderabad to shoot for Check when Nithiin wraps up shooting for Rang De in Dubai.
