Rakul Preet begins shoot for Balakrishna and Krish's NTR biopic

Rakul Preet has begun shoot today for Krish and Balakrishna’s upcoming NTR biopic.
The actress will be seen essaying the role of late Sridevi in the film and had recently revealed that it would be a challenge to play her. Posting a short video from the green room few hours ago on her social media, the actress wrote, “Making of #Srideviji. Startsssssss today.” (sic) This is the first time someone will be playing Sridevi on screen, so sharing the news, the actress had written few days ago, “When this happens !! #blessed #grateful #ntrbiopic” (sic) The actress even revealed to TOI few days ago that she will be doing extensive homework before beginning shoot, seeing as how she never met the legendary actress in person.
Back from her recent sojourn in Sri Lanka to celebrate her friend Lakshmi Manchu’s birthday, the actress will reportedly be shaking a leg with Balakrishna, who will be playing his father NTR in the film. Reports also stating that the duo will be canning a song from the movie ‘Vetagadu’, directed by K Raghavendra Rao, titled ‘Aaku Chatu Pinde Tadiste’.
