Rakul charms Hemamalini with broken Tamil

Rakul Preet Singh had her fangirl moment when she recently shot with the original ���Dream Girl��� Hema Malini in Shimla, and the actress can���t seem to stop raving about it. ���Hemaji is a legend and I remember seeing old black and white films of her on TV as a child and wonder ���how beautiful she is!���. Working with her is like one of those things that you never dream would happen,��� says Rakul, who is playing Hema Malini���s daughter in her upcoming Hindi film Shimla Mirchi.
The former Miss India contestant is amazed at Hema Malini���s willingness to rehearse. ���Hemaji is a perfectionist and rehearses until she gets her dialogues and timing right. And she is so full of stories. It was an incredible experience to listen to her life���s story,��� says Rakul, who shook a leg with her in a song.
���She is such a graceful dancer and makes very complicated moves look easy. I was nervous about matching her, but she made me feel comfortable and I had a ball,��� adds Rakul, who admittedly bonded with Hema Malini over Tamil. ���I managed to strike a rapport with my broken Tamil which would leave Hemaji in splits,��� says Rakul.
