Raj’s sister, Sheetal Nidimoru, took to Instagram to share the first family photo of the newlyweds, along with a heartfelt note that has quickly become the emotional centre of the wedding news.

In her post, Sheetal shared how spiritually aligned and meaningful the day felt as she embraced Samantha into the Nidimoru family. Her message read, "While praying to Shiva in the Chandrakund today... soaked, shivering, during the pradoṣha time, I found myself embracing the Shivalingam with a heart full of tears. Not tears of pain... but tears of gratitude.




Gratitude for the peace I feel in this moment, for the clarity that has settled around our family, and for the deep sense of ‘gentle alignment’ in Raj and Samantha’s journey."

Expressing her pride in the couple, she added, "As a family we feel so proud of how they are walking forward... with calm dignity, honesty, and a steadiness that only comes when two hearts choose the same path with intention. And as a family, we stand by them together, fully, joyfully, and without hesitation, blessing them and supporting them in every way."

The intimate Isha Foundation wedding

The couple tied the knot on December 1 at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. Their ceremony, attended by only 30–35 close family members and friends, followed the Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ritual — a spiritual process aligned with Sadhguru’s philosophy, which both Samantha and Raj have long connected with.

Samantha looked radiant in a traditional red silk saree with golden work, complete with heavy gold jewellery, gajra, and mehendi. Raj opted for a white kurta–pajama paired with a cream Nehru jacket. Sharing glimpses from the ceremony on Instagram, Samantha captioned them, " 01.12.2025 ".

How Samantha and Raj’s relationship grew

The two reportedly first met during the shoot of 'The Family Man 2', where Samantha’s performance won widespread acclaim. They reunited professionally for 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' with Varun Dhawan. Over the past year, their repeated appearances together sparked speculation that eventually turned into confirmed wedding news.



Samantha was earlier married to Naga Chaitanya (2017–2021), who has since married Sobhita Dhulipala. Raj was previously married to Shhyamali De, with reports of a separation in 2022. On the work front, Samantha was last seen in 'Subham'. Samantha and Raj are further working on the upcoming web series 'Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom'.
