Raghu Kunche, the music composer who co-produced
Pradeep Maddali’s debut film
47 Days
lashed out at
critics
in an emotional post.
The film, which has been in works for a while now, directly hit an
OTT
platform recently and received lukewarm response from critics. Referring to the critics who panned his film as ‘bala medhavulu’ in a
sarcastic
tone, he also insinuated that many might not have understood the film’s content. He also stated how if this were a
theatrical
release, maybe the film would’ve faced issues and being a
direct-OTT
release, it has instead gotten good reviews from the audience.
He also wrote that many from the film industry have been suffering due to
coronavirus and that critics have been concentrating only on readership and views, going as far as suggesting they will only know the pain if they had put together money to produce the film.
47 Days sees
Satyadev
play the role of ACP Satya, who is on a six-month suspension because he cannot get over his wife Paddu, played by Roshini Prakash’s suicide. The once empathetic street-smart cop who’s against police brutality has now turned into an alcoholic who keeps hallucinating his dead wife and is never taken seriously. While the film was critiqued by many for being a muddled mess Satyadev’s performance was appreciated.
Satyadev, who was last seen in the web-series Locked, apart from Sarileru Neekevvaru, Raagala 24 Gantallo, George Reddy, iSmart Shankar and Brochevarevaura has been slowly making a name for himself as an able performer.
