Raghava Lawrence's 'Kanchana 3' trailer is intense!

Taking forward Raghava Lawrence’s ‘Muni’ and ‘Kanchana’ series is the soon-to-be-released ‘Kanchana 3’, unofficially ‘Muni 4’.
The film that is director and also stars Raghava Lawrence sees Oviya and Vedhika as the female leads and Kabir Singh Duhan as the antagonist. The Tamil trailer for the film was released today, so was the Telugu trailer an hour after that. While ‘Kanchana’ and ‘Kanchana 2’ were more light-hearted in tone, ‘Kanchana 3’s trailer seems at an intense film leaning more towards horror than comedy, unlike the previous films from the series.It also sees Raghava Lawrence in a new avatar, sporting grey hair and beard.
It remains to be seen how the film will take the story forward. ‘Kanchana 3’ features cinematography by Vetri and Sarvesh Murrari with music by Thaman S. The ‘Kanchana’ series chart the journey of a man named Raghava who is initially afraid of ghosts and spirits but is possessed by the ghost of a transgender. The second film took the story forward with the character visiting a haunted house to shoot for a television channel.
'Kanchana 3' is slated for release on April 19. It remains to be seen how it takes the story forward. It is clear however that like the previous films, it carries the theme of Goddess Kali in this one too.
