Prabhas is returning to the theatres after almost two and a half years. ‘Radhe Shyam' is touted to be a period action drama written and directed by
Radha Krishna Kumar starring Prabhas and
Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film is said to be set in Europe during the 1970s and it tells the story of a palmist who is conflicted between destiny and his lady love Prerana.
The film also features veteran actors Krishnam Raju, Bhagyashree, Sathyaraj, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, and several others playing other important roles in the film.
The film is reportedly made with a whopping budget of Rs 300 – 350 crores by Prabhas friends UV Creations in association with T-Series. The film was shot by
Manoj Paramahamsa and edited by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao who edited ‘Baahubali’. The film’s music was composed by Justin Prabhakaran in the south and Mithoon, Amaal Mallik, and Manan Bhardwaj in the north whereas its background score is composed by S.Thaman for the south versions whereas Sachit Balhara to the Hindi version.
