6 flop Telugu movies that have good music

Music is the lifeblood of cinema. Without music, we can’t even imagine a film. Back then, most movies were musical hits. Looking at some of the movies now, it seems that music is not given much importance. Some of the movies have good music but they are not successful at the box office. There are many such films in Tollywood. On that note, let's take a look at some of the flop Telugu movies that have good music.

Justin Prabhakaran's 'Radhe Shyam'

It was anticipated that Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer 'Radhe Shyam' lived up to the expectations. But we were all disappointed beyond words. 'Radhe Shyam' did bring us beautiful music. It hasn't been very long since its release, but we don't reckon "Ee Raathale" is going to be forgotten any time soon. The music was definitely the only highlight of the film! And thanks to musician Justin Prabhakaran for delivering wonderful music.

Govind Vasantha's 'Jaanu'

Sharwanand and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer 'Jaanu' failed to impress critics and the people alike despite its fairytale-like take on love. The duo pulled together in this intense story failed to impress many. But the audiences did love the songs like "The Life of Ram", "Pranam", "Oohale" and "Inthena" to remember. Govind Vasantha did keep the proceedings alive in its soundtrack and we thank him for it. Though it's Tamil original 96 was a box office success, the Telugu version ended up a box office failure.

Anirudh Ravichander's 'Agnyaathavaasi'

This Pawan Kalyan starrer made pretty much no impression on the Telugu movie-goer. The only reason we remember this movie is for its songs like "Baitikochi Chuste", "Gaali Vaaluga", "Kodakaa Koteswar Rao", "AB Yevaro Nee Baby" and "Kodakaa Koteswar Rao" that made us fall in love. The overly dramatic film certainly killed us with boredom. It was the biggest disaster in the career of Pawan Kalyan after Johnny, but a biggest music hit thanks to music director Anirudh Ravichander.

Anup Ruben's '30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela'

The 2021 musical comedy wasn't as comedic as it was brilliantly musical by Anup Rubens. Not many had the patients to sit through this movie, but the music was pretty good and had more than one hit number on the album like "Neeli Neeli Aakasam", "Idera Sneham", "Meeko Dhandam" and "Amma Nannu Mallee Penchavaa". It was the debut of anchor-actor Pradeep Machiraju in the lead role as well as Tamil actress Amritha Aiyer’s Tollywood debut.

MM Keeravani's 'Pelli SandaD'

This 2021 Dussehra release definitely tanked at the box office, still, the soft numbers from the movie made it to our hearts and became something we would croon away while sitting idle. "Premante Enti", "Bujjulu Bujjulu", "Madhura Nagarilo", and "Gandharva Lokala" were our favourites! It was the acting debut of popular Tollywood director K Raghavendra Rao and the female lead Sree Leela. From its title track to the melodious "Madhura Nagarilo", the playlist still has a special place in our hearts.

Vishal–Sekhar's 'Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India'

Most of us literally may not remember this Allu Arjun starrer very well, simply because it failed to make much of an impact on the Tollywood scene. But truly memorable music by the duo Vishal–Sekhar is what keeps its legacy going. The music though indeed clicked with the audiences and can still be found on the playlists of many! It was the directorial debut of story writer Vakkantham Vamsi.
