Raashi Khanna gearing up for a cop act
Raashi Khanna started off as a self-confident, independent girl in Oohalu Gusagusalade and followed it up with the lover girl act in Joru. With Jil her transition from the simple girl-next-door to the glamourous diva was complete. Raashi is now in preparation to don the cop avatar in her next film.
I am working on the role now. I have several films in mind that I will watch to get the act right.

I recently watched Miss Congeniality and Sandra Bullock blew my mind, shares the actress. Raashi is trying to get a hang of the nuances of the role presently. I want to get the body language of female cops right and understand them better. I am really looking forward to playing the part as I always wanted to play a cop! I love roles that put me on an edge and this one satiated my creative appetite, she explains.
With several interesting projects coming her way, the leggy lass says she is loving her busy life though she hardly gets time with her family. Apart from work I really have no time for myself. I am literally living out of a suitcase. But I love my life! I have no complaints except for the fact that I get very little time with my family. However, the happiness they feel every time they see me doing well compensates for everything, says Raashi.
The Jil actress is extremely pleased with all the adulation that has been coming her way. I honestly believe that you can change your destiny by working hard. However, I never really expected this reception; it has been so overwhelming. But I would say all this isnt due to my efforts alone as I have a team makeup man, hairstylists, stylists and managers who make all this possible for me, says Raashi, adding, Success also has a lot to do with the kind of choice one makes and I feel very fortunate that my first film had a strong script the reason why I agreed to be a part of it.
Showbiz is a journey of ups and downs but Raashi says the downs can never perturb her. I think todays audiences crave for stories that touch their heart and I crave for such scripts too. My decisions are mostly based on my gut feeling. I never have any strategies planned. I honestly dont think about it and believe in giving my best to what I get and then the result doesnt matter. I understand that it is a very unpredictable profession where today I might be at the pinnacle and tomorrow I may face failures. But I am neither affected by success nor failure. I completely understand how temporary fame is and I keep my sanity at all times, she signs off.
