She was offered the role of Manju, Ram Charan’s love interest that eventually went to Shruti Haasan. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, this film turned out to be a blockbuster hit at the box office.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was offered to act as the leading lady opposite Ram Charan in this movie, but she turned it down because of commitment issues at that time. Hence, Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to play the love interest Charan in the movie. Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, the movie was an average fare at the box office.

'U Turn' is a supernatural thriller Kannada film that was remade into Telugu and Tamil by the same name. Starring Samantha in the lead, it was simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages. After the success of the film, some Bollywood filmmakers brought the remake rights and were keen on casting Samantha as the leading actor for the same. However, things failed to materialize and Alaya F was then approached to star in the film.

Did you guys know Samantha was offered a role opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in ‘NTR Kathanayakudu? According to a media report, the actress apparently rejected the role, which was later played by a leading Tollywood actress. But the actress is said to have turned down the offer for reasons unknown. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, ‘NTR Kathanayakudu showcases the political journey of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.

If media reports are to be believed, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was initially chosen as the heroine of this movie. However, she refused to play the lead due to unknown reasons. Later it was offered to Rashmika Mandanna. This movie turned out to be a box office hit. The movie was directed by Sukumar and starred Allu Arjun in the lead role.

The makers of 'Dasara' initially approached Samantha for doing the lead role but she didn't like to play the second leading lady and decided to pass it on. The film later went to Keerthy Suresh, who shared screen space with Nani. She reportedly refused to be a part of this film. Directed by debutant Srikanth Odela, Nani will be seen in a rustic avatar in the movie.
