Pushpa is #1 and Radhe Shyam is #4 on the list of Most Anticipated Indian Movies

The hype around the film that runs on the topic of red sanders smuggling just keeps increasing and turns out the film ranked #1 on the list of Most Anticipated Indian Movies and Shows on IMDB. Pushpa didn’t just beat films like Atrangi Re and Gangubai Kathiawadi, it also beat KGF 2 and Radhe Shyam. The film bagged first place with more than 27.1% page views at the time of writing.

The film’s team shared the news on social media and wrote, “Not just the fans, the whole country is waiting for #Pushpa. Rated #1 in the list of IMDB's most anticipated movie in India. #ThaggedheLe @alluarjun @iamRashmika #FahadhFaasil @aryasukku @ThisIsDSP @resulp @MythriOfficial. (sic)” Radha Krishna Kumar’s Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam stands at #4 at the time of writing.

Pushpa will hit screens in two parts, with the first one slated for release in August. The first-glimpse has already amped up expectations with Allu Arjun acing his role as Pushpa Raj and using the dialogue, “Thaggedhe Le.” The actor went through a rustic makeover to play a coolie from Rayalaseema who turns smuggler. The roles that Rashmika and Fahadh play are being kept carefully under wraps.

Filming for Pushpa took place in the forests of Seshachalam and Maredumalli before the second wave of coronavirus hit. The crime drama with Allu Arjun will be Sukumar’s third film with him after Arya and Arya 2. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes for this blockbuster.
