‘Pushpa’ director Sukumar recently shared his praise for ace filmmaker James Cameron’s upcoming movie, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. He shared his experience of watching the film at an exclusive advance screening ahead of its official release tomorrow.

Sukumar’s take after the film’s exclusive screening

On Thursday, in a video shared by the makers, Sukumar was seen standing in a cinema hall, where he called the movie, “an absolute blockbuster”. He shared that the film delivers on every front, from breathtaking visuals to its storyline. He also shared that James Cameron proved why ‘Avatar’ is not just a visual spectacle but is also a powerful human story.

The ‘Rangasthalam’ director also added that the grand visuals in the movie never overpower the feelings of the characters. Instead, both elements work together for a memorable cinematic experience. Calling it a true event film, Sukumar said ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ is meant to be watched with family and experienced only on the big screen.He added that the world of Pandora feels richer and more immersive than ever.

SS Rajamouli also praises the film

Earlier, ‘Varanasi’ director SS Rajamouli also shared his thoughts on watching ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. During a live video conference with James Cameron, the ‘RRR’ director thanked him for the special screening.
He said he felt honoured to be among the first in India to watch the film.‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ is set for a worldwide theatrical release on December 19. The film will be the third part of James Cameron’s epic science fiction on Pandora after ‘Avatar’ and ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’.

Sukumar’s next film

On the work front, Sukumar, after his massive hit with ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Pushpa 2’ starring Allu Arjun, will be working with Ram Charan for his next project. The movie is tentatively named ‘RC17’. The movie is currently in the pre-production phase as Ram Charan is working on ‘Peddi’.
