'Pushpa' actor Shri Tej accused of exploitation under pretense of marriage

Telugu actor Shri Tej, recognized for his role in the hit movie 'Pushpa: The Rise,' has been embroiled in a serious controversy. He has been accused of exploiting a woman under the pretext of marriage, a matter that has escalated with legal implications.

As reported by M9, the woman, whose identity has been kept confidential, lodged a complaint with the Hyderabad police, alleging that Shri Tej lured her with promises of marriage but later reneged on his commitment. Additionally, the victim accused him of harassment. As a result, Shri Tej is now under investigation for criminal breach of trust and harassment.


This incident follows a series of controversies involving actors from the Telugu film industry. Notably, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, another actor from 'Pushpa,' was recently arrested on charges of abetment to suicide after allegedly harassing a junior artiste.

While these allegations highlight the darker side of the entertainment industry, they have also sparked discussions about accountability and the treatment of women within the industry.

Meanwhile, the makers of 'Pushpa 2' recently launched the item song, 'Kissak' starring Allu Arjun and Sreeleela in Chennai.
