'Pushpa 2' stampede: Bhaskar feels shattered as he loses his wife Revathy: She gave me liver and saved my life, now she's gone

In a deeply tragic turn of events, Bhaskar, who had recently undergone a life-saving liver transplant thanks to the selfless donation of his wife, Revathy, is now grappling with the immense loss of the woman who had given him a new lease on life. The devastating incident unfolded on the evening of Wednesday, during the much-anticipated screening of Pushpa 2 at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The excitement in the crowd reached a fever pitch as the popular actor Allu Arjun made a special appearance, leading to an uncontrollable surge of people that quickly escalated into a stampede.

Bhaskar attended the screening with his wife, their two children, and other family members. As the crowd surged, Bhaskar's daughter, Sanvi, became distressed, prompting the family to step aside. Unfortunately, Revathy and their son, Sreethej, were caught in the chaos. Revaty fell and sustained severe injuries, leading to her death despite being rushed to the hospital. Sreethej, a huge fan of Allu Arjun, was also injured and was assisted by the police before being admitted to the hospital.

This heartbreaking event has left the family devastated, with Bhaskar now forced to cope with the unimaginable loss of his wife, while also dealing with the long-term effects of the trauma that has shaken their entire family.
