Allu Arjun starrer and Sukumar directorial 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is not just fire but wildfire. The makers recently announced the theatrical release of 'Pushpa 2: Reloaded' which has an added 20 minutes of fresh content on the intense rivalry between Pushparaj and SP Shekhawat portrayed by Fahadh Faasil. However, shortly after its debut, reports emerged of the film being leaked online on various piracy websites.
A social media user recently shared screenshots showing 'Pushpa 2: Reloaded' available for streaming in HD quality and in multiple quality formats such as HD, 1080p, 720p, and 480p, with both Telugu and Hindi audio. Despite this, the fans took to platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to encourage others to experience the film in theatres instead of resorting to pirated versions. Users on social media sites have been writing, "#Pushpa2Reloaded HD Print Leaked in Telugu, Hindi"
The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna reprising her role as Srivalli.
Previously, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' also faced a similar fate when it was leaked online just hours after its initial release on December 5, 2024. Despite these challenges, the film performed exceptionally well at the box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. As of now, it has grossed over Rs 1,850 crore worldwide.
The reloaded version has received positive feedback from audiences who appreciated the added scenes that provide more context and clarity to the storyline. For instance, viewers can now see Pushpa's journey abroad in a container fully explained which was only hinted at in the original release.
With its strong box office performance and ongoing popularity, 'Pushpa 2: Reloaded' is expected to maintain a decent momentum in theatres. Moreover, Netflix has acquired the OTT rights for the film and is set to stream it by the end of January 2025.
