Lately, there has been a lot of buzz around the Telugu remake to

Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pink

. The film will be directed by Venu Sriram.

According to the latest reports, the film’s team is working overtime to make sure that the sequel will go on floors on January 20. Pawan Kalyan will be seen reprising the role of a no-nonsense lawyer played to perfection by Amitabh Bachchan in Pink. His character is deeply layered. Reports also say Venu Sriram and his writing team is taking things dire, to ensure that part two lives up to the expectations of the audience. The makers will soon make an official announcement regarding the film and the launch dates.

Names like

Nivetha Thomas and Anjali

are being tossed around. This yet-untitled project is currently in the pre-production stage, and the makers are working on the cast and crew of the film. It will be produced by

Bony Kapoor

in collaboration with Dil Raju under the banner Bayview Projects LLP in association with Sri Venkateswara Creations. SS Thaman is likely to compose music for this flick.
