Producer thrashes rumours regarding Balakrishna’s remuneration for Ruler

The shooting of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s forthcoming actioner Ruler is proceeding at a rapid pace in both India and abroad. Touted to be romantic action entertainer, the film will reportedly showcase Balayya Babu in dual avatars. While the initial posters showcased the 59-year-old actor in an uber-cool look which resembled Tony Stark character from the famous Avengers series, the latest pictures released on Diwali portrayed the Legend star as a ferocious cop.
Meanwhile, from the past few days, it’s reported that Balakrishna has suddenly hiked his remuneration for Ruler and with no option left, the producer has agreed to the same. However, thrashing all those talks as rumours, C Kalyan shared some interesting details regarding his association with Balayya.
During an interaction with a leading daily, the veteran producer revealed “I already produced Jai Simha with Balakrishna and found him to be a very generous and down-to-earth person who never demands anything. The topic of remuneration never comes up in our discussions.”
Directed by KS Ravi Kumar, Ruler is slated for a December release. While Bollywood bombshell Sonal Chauhan and Kollywood damsel Vedhika are playing the romantic interests to the senior actor, the role of Bhumika Chawla is yet to be revealed.
