Priyanka Mohan appointed as Korea Tourism Honorary Ambassador; says ‘It is truly very special to me’

Actor Priyanka Mohan has been appointed as the Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO). The actress shared the news with her fans on social media and expressed her gratitude for receiving the prestigious recognition.

The ‘Made in Korea’ actress shared that she feels honoured to be associated with South Korea and thanked the Korean government and KTO for choosing her for the role. She described the opportunity as very special and said she is excited about the journey ahead.

“Being appointed as the Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism is truly very special to me. I’m sincerely thankful to the Korean government and the Korea Tourism Organization for recognising me as someone who can help bring Korean culture closer to Indian audiences,” she wrote.

She further added, "Korea's culture, traditions, and warmth have always inspired me, and I'm very happy to be part of this beautiful journey. A heartfelt thank you to the President of the Korea Tourism Organization for the trust, kindness, and warm welcome. Looking forward to everything ahead."



Priyanka's appointment is another important step in her growing relationship with South Korea. Earlier, she was invited to Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi for a state dinner attended by South Korean President Lee Jae Myung.

She now joins several Indian celebrities who have worked with Korea Tourism in recent years. Hina Khan and Anushka Sen have also served as Honorary Ambassadors and helped promote South Korean culture and tourism among Indian audiences through different campaigns and initiatives.

Priyanka Mohan’s upcoming project

On the professional front, the actress will be seen in director Mari Selvaraj's ‘Manjanathi’, which has music composed by Ilaiyaraaja.

Apart from that, she is also part of the spy-action thriller ‘666 Operation Dream Theatre’ and the Tamil film ‘Arasan.’
