Tollywood actress Priyanka Jawalkar has tested

Covid-19

. The actress took to social media to share the news, revealing that she is showing

symptoms

.

While she did not go into detail about them, she wrote, “Hey everyone, despite taking all precauations, I tested positive for COVID with symptoms. I’m currently in

isolation

following my doctor’s instructions and I also started taking the required

medication

. (sic)” She also urged everyone to stay home, stay safe and wear a mask to step out for essentials, “I urge everyone who met me in the last few days to get themselves tested. I also request everyone to mask up and not head out unless absolutely necessary. Stay Safe! (sic)” Further details are awaited.


Priyanka Jawalkar hails from a Marathi-speaking family from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The computer science and fashion design graduate made her debut in Tollywood with the 2018 film Taxiwaala, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda.
