Priyanka Chopra calls Mahesh Babu 'Legendary' at 'Varanasi' launch, Says his family made Hyderabad feel like home

Priyanka Chopra had the Hyderabad crowd cheering louder than ever when she took a moment to speak about her co-star, Mahesh Babu, during the 'Varanasi' title and first-look launch at the 'GlobeTrotter' event. During the event, the global icon called Mahesh Babu "incredible" and "legendary" and thanked his family, Namrata Shirodkar and Sitara for their warm welcome and hospitality.

Priyanka Chopra wore a stunning all-white traditional lehenga at the GlobeTrotter event. As she stepped on stage, she spoke about her experience working with director SS Rajamouli and the co-star Prithviraj Sukumaran. Later, she also talked about the main protagonist and Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu.

She teased the Babu fans, saying, "Thank you for welcoming me. You know who I am going to talk about, right? What do you call him Bob or Lion? There are many other names, but I know him as MB. I know him as the incredible, legendary Mahesh Babu."

Priyanka also extended a special word of gratitude and thanks to Mahesh's family, who was also present at the event. She said, "Thank you and your beautiful family, Namrata and Sitara have made me feel like Hyderabad is my home. So thank you so much for treating me like your family and making this experience so wonderful for me."

Malti Marie's fun time in Hyderabad

Earlier this week, Priyanka Chopra shared on her X (formerly Twitter) handle that her daughter Malti Marie had a wonderful time during the Hyderabad shoot, where she spent quality moments with Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara. Priyanka revealed that Malti accompanied her to the film set in Hyderabad and enjoyed visiting the farm of director SS Rajamouli, where she even met a calf.
