Priyamani returns to Telugu cinema; to star in a supernatural thriller

Two years after she played the role of a prostitute in Prakash Raj’s village drama, Mana Oori Ramayanam, Priyamani is all set to return to

Telugu cinema

. The actress will be seen in an upcoming supernatural thriller, which will be her first Telugu film after marriage.
Directed by Prakash Pulijala, the film, titled Sirivennela, is set to kick off today. Priyamani, who will be sharing screen space with actors Sai Tejaswani, Prabhakar and Ajay Rathnam, is super thrilled to be back.
“It’s a supernatural thriller and I have a fabulous role. I play a young lady who studies about
supernatural and paranormal elements and is someone who wants to know if they are true or not. However, she inadvertently gets involved in an incident which completely changes the course of her life. How she manages to deal with situation is what makes it exciting,” shares Priyamani.
The actress, who tied the knot with Mustafa Raj last year, is excited to start her second innings in Tollywood post-marriage.
“This is my first Telugu film post marriage so I’m looking forward to it. I’ve already done a Kannada film and I’m currently shooting for

Malayalam

film, but I’ve missed doing Telugu films, so really looking forward to this one,” she signs off.
