National Award winning actress Priyamani would be playing conjoined twins in her forthcoming horror trilingual 'Charulatha'. Sources say that the film is being made in three languages Telugu, Telugu and Kannada. Since
Priyamani is a popular actress across the South, the makers are planning to have a wide release for the film.
'Charulatha', directed by Ponkumaran, is said to be an inspiration from Thai film 'Alone', about two conjoined twins with contrast natures with a few spooky moments.
The film will have Mollywood actor Skanda as the male lead while Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and Arthi play significant roles.
Priyamani has already given some stunning performances in the past for films like 'Paruthi Veeran', and her characterization in 'Charulatha' seems to strengthen her niche position. The actress says that such a script has not been experimented before and it'll be an interesting gamble. The rushes of Kannada version of 'Charulatha' have garnered lot of curiosity and it is now being in Tamil and Telugu with the same cast. The first schedule was shot in Chennai and Kerala and the second will go on floors in Bangalore.
