Debutant director
Uday Gurrala's Tollywood film ''Mail'', one of the most loved and critically-acclaimed films this year has been selected for the New York Indian Film Festival 2021.
Mail is a comedy-drama that tells the story of a village youth Ravi, who is a college-goer, is always fascinated by computers and meets a small-time photographer Hybath to learn computer at his home on an hourly basis.
How does Ravi’s life changes after he received fake mail forms the crux of the story. The movie has been praised for its sharp screenplay, beautiful narration and remarkable performances of the actors.

The film, available on a popular streaming platform had received heartwarming reviews from critics and fans. Mail also starred Harshith Malgireddy, Mani Aegurla, Gouri Priya Reddy, Yennengee, Ravinder Bommakanti, Anusha Netha, Vannarn and Srikanth Palle in significant roles. Mail was shot by Uday Gurrala and produced by Priyanka Dutt under the banner of Swapna Cinema. Sweekar Agasthi and Kamran are the music composers of the film, and Uday Gurrala and Shyam Dupati are the cinematographers. Hari Shankar TN is the editor.
