After heaving a sigh of relief with the much-needed success of Chitralahari,
Sai Dharam Tej is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Prati Roju Pandaage. Starring
Raashi Khanna as the leading lady, the
Maruthi directorial features an extremely talented supporting cast like
Sathyaraj and
Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles. After unveiling the songs and a few video promos, the makers of
Prati Roju Pandaage
have finally released the theatrical trailer of the family-entertainer and it looks promising.
The core plot of the film focuses around an old Sathyaraj who is diagnosed with Lung Cancer and has no more than 5 weeks to live. While he wishes to spend time with his sons and their families in the last stages, his children try to ignore him. At this crucial juncture enters his grandson Sai Dharam Tej who takes care of his ailing grandfather by fulfilling all his wishes, desires and dreams before the D-day.
Though the proceedings are somewhat similar to Satish Vegesna's Shatamanam Bhavati, director Maruthi deserves applause for his refreshing and entertaining narration. Even the serious scenes are filled with hilarious one-liners and rib-tickling antics of the cast. While Raashi Khanna is seen as a typical village girl who is obsessed with TikTok, Sai Dharam Tej delivered a neat performance as the protagonist.
However, the scene-stealers of
Prati Roju Pandaage Trailer
are Sathyaraj and Rao Ramesh. Both these seasoned actors who play father & son in the movie look convincing and their hilarious antics & funny one-liners are something to watch out for.
S Thaman has composed the music of Prati Roju Pandaage and the film is all set for a release on December 20.
