Prashanth Neel-NTR film high-octane action sequence to be shot at Ramoji Film City

Jr NTR and 'Salaar' and 'KGF' fame Prashanth Neel are working on their upcoming film tentatively titled, 'NTR31'. The film is currently in the production phase and recent updates indicate the makers will soon be shooting some high octane action sequences.

As per a 123Telugu report, the initial shoot of the film will take place at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The production will start with a massive action sequence involving hundreds of junior artists playing police officers. Jr NTR is not expected to be part of this initial schedule but will likely join the production later.

Pre-production has been ongoing for several months, with the film expected to be a high-octane commercial entertainer. The film is touted to be titled, 'Dragon'.

While specific plot details are still closely guarded, the film is speculated to be an epic action saga with emotionally charged incidents, during a periodic timeline where the lives of various characters are connected. The story is rumoured to be set in 1969, in a region where the borders of China, Bhutan, and India's Golden Triangle converge, as it will include political intrigue and potential conflict themes.

Rukmini Vasanth is also cast in the film. Music composer Ravi Basrur will be producing the tunes for the film.

On the other hand, Jr. NTR is also set to make his Bollywood debut with the upcoming film 'War 2,' co-starring Hrithik Roshan. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film will showcase Jr. NTR in a key role, reportedly as the primary antagonist, where he will face off against Hrithik Roshan's character, Kabir. The film is expected to feature thrilling action sequences.

The film's release is scheduled for August 14, 2025, but reports suggest that there have been delays in production that may affect the timeline.
