In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Prasanth Varma discussed the progress of 'Jai Hanuman', confirming that the cast has been finalized and hoping to announce the members soon. He further disclosed that he is currently working on projects not part of PVCU.

Speaking of cast, he also spoke about casting a big name for the upcoming film 'Mahakali' is not a problem and while casting big stars can be tempting, it’s crucial to ensure that the film does not reinforce existing beauty norms. He is committed to authenticity in casting, particularly for the role of Mahakali, stating that he will avoid using makeup techniques that alter skin tone to fit traditional beauty standards.

Earlier in another interview he revealed that Teja Sajja will play a significant role in the sequel 'Jani Hanuman', although he will not be the lead. Varma hoped for either Chiranjeevi or Mahesh Babu to take on that pivotal role.
