According to confirmed sources, Pranitha Subhash is all set to shed her glamour image for the film. She will be playing the role of Ajay Devgn’s wife in the war-drama and the first shooting schedule has already been wrapped up.

Admitting that she loved the realistic script of Bhuj: The Pride of India, the gorgeous gal opened up about her film journey in a recent interaction with Deccan Chronicle.

“To be honest, I never even planned my career in south. I simply went with the flow and took things as they came. When I was young I did not know about the Telugu film industry. Then I forayed into it and one project led to another. So my nine years of film journey feels like self-discovery for me,” she said.

Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Bhuj stars an ensemble star cast like Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati and Ammy Virk. The film is based on true events happened during the Indo-Pak war of 1971.
