Prabhas to put 'Kalki 2' & 'Salaar 2' on hold for a new film with Prasanth Varma: Report

Prabha is one of the busiest actors in the industry, with the Rebel Star being in part with multiple films. They include 'The Raja Saab,' 'Fauji,' and 'Spirit.' However, recent reports suggest that he has added another project to his pipeline, potentially changing his shooting schedule.

As per a Gulte report, Prabhas has agreed to work with director Prasanth Varma, known for his 2023 super hit 'HanuMan,' on a yet-to-be-announced film. This project is reportedly being fast-tracked and will begin before the sequels to 'Kalki' and 'Salaar.' Prabhas is scheduled to undergo a look test for this film, indicating that preparations are already underway. Prabhas is expected to do a look test for Varma's film today, February 26.

Currently, Prabhas is working on his next horror comedy, 'The Raja Saab' directed by Maruthi. Following this, the 'Darling' actor is expected to begin work on 'Fauji,' a period action drama with Hanu Raghavapudi, and then move on to 'Spirit,' an intense cop drama with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Initially, Prabhas was expected to start filming for 'Kalki 2898 AD: Part II' and 'Salaar: Part 2' after completing these projects.

Speaking of his upcoming film, 'The Raja Saab' the movie is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 10th, 2025. Prabhas plays a dual role in this film, which combines humour with supernatural elements. The story revolves around a haunted mansion and a financial mystery.

In the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial, the movie will be a historic action drama film, and in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' Prabhas will portray a character of an intense cop.
