Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’ to hit cinemas on 5th December 2025; Teaser drops on THIS date

The long wait is over! The makers of 'The Raja Saab' have officially announced the film’s theatrical release date — 5th December 2025.


Adding to the excitement, the teaser will be unveiled on 16th June, giving fans their first thrilling glimpse into this much-anticipated supernatural entertainer.

Prabhas took to his Instagram handle to share a new poster from the film and penned a note that read, “#TheRajaSaab Teaser on June 16th. See you in theatres on Dec 5th.”

Prabhas’s post was soon flooded with comments from fans. One comment read, “Get ready prabhas fans jai prbhas raju.” Another one wrote, “Rebel to darling mode.” A third one wrote, “Can't wait vintage Darling.”

Prabhas’ first horror film

Prabhas steps into the horror genre for the first time in his career with ‘The Raja Saab’, directed by Maruthi, who is known for blending humour and emotion with flair.

Billed as a horror film with an entertaining twist, ‘The Raja Saab’ breaks away from genre norms. The film will feature the female leads — Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar.

Big-Scale production for a Pan-India spectacle

‘The Raja Saab’ is mounted on a lavish scale with top-tier production values. Karthik Palani serves as the cinematographer, while Thaman S composes the music for this fantasy film.

Slated for a Pan-India release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, the film is expected to be a blockbuster year-end spectacle.

Meanwhile, Prabhas’ previous outing was the sci-fi film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ which turned out to be a superhit. The multi-starrer ‘Star Wars’ inspired film was directed by Nag Ashwin. Apart from Prabhas, the movie also features the actors Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and many others in pivotal roles.
