By now Pan-India star Prabhas has taken to his Instagram stories to appreciate the cast and crew of ‘Karthikeya 2’ and wrote, “Congratulations to @actor_nikhil, @anupamaparameswaran96, @anupampkher, @Chandoo.mondeti, @bhairavudu, @peoplemediafactory, @aaartsofficial, and the entire team of #Karthikeya2 for their blockbuster success.”
It is known that the above film turned out to be the biggest blockbuster for both the actor Nikhil and its director Chandoo Mondeti in their careers so far. The film that was released as a small film has surprised many with its reception and box-office numbers.
The film’s Hindi version response has come as a big surprise for many and they reportedly believe it is due to its producer Abhishek Agarwal's 's previous film ‘The Kashmir Files’ and Bollywood filmmakers Vivek agnihotri, Anupam Kher's tweets about the film.
Not stopping with that the film is now reportedly giving a tough competition to Bollywood superstars in Mumbai such as ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’.

‘Karthikeya 2’ is an adventure thriller written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti as a sequel to his 2014 film ‘Karthikeya’ reprising most of its cast. By now the film has minted over Rs 27 crores in just 3 days of its release.
