Prabhas blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD' set for re-release in Russia

Prabhas's 2024 blockbuster film 'Kalki 2898 AD' became one of the highest grossing films. With his grand success of multiple hits including 'Baahubali', 'Salaar' and more the Rebel Star has gained a huge fan following across the world. The movie is now gearing up for a 'Kalki 2898 AD' re-release in Russia.

As per media reports the film will be dubbed in Russian and is set to hit theatres across the country on November 1. This follows its impressive performance during its initial release, where it grossed approximately $1.64 million, making it the highest-grossing Indian film in Russia this year.

Multiple films starring Prabhas are getting re-released as his birthday approaches. He will be celebrating his 45th birthday on October 23, 2024. Additionally, six of his popular films, including 'Mr. Perfect', 'Mirchi', 'Chatrapathi', 'Eeswar', 'Rebel', and 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire', will be shown in various theatres across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and even overseas.

The mythological sci-fi drama directed by Nag Ashwin, 'Kalki 2898 AD' the film also includes Bollywood icons Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, as well as legendary actor Kamal Haasan. The film was released on June 27th, 2024 worldwide.

'Kalki 2898 AD' has achieved remarkable success at the box office, grossing over Rs 1042 crore worldwide as per Sacnilk reports. This figure includes approximately Rs 767.25 crore from the Indian market and around Rs 275 crore from overseas collections.
