Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire' to re-release on March 21

The 2023 blockbuster Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire' is set to hit the silver screen once again. Recently a poster was shared on social media sharing the details about the film's re-release.

On X (formerly Twitter) Suresh PRO shared a poster where it was announced that the film would be re-released on March 21, 2025. The post reads, "�������� Returning To His DEN "����������������" #SalaarCeaseFire Strikes Back To Dominate The BIG Screen ! #Salaar RE - RELEASING On ���������� �������� !"

Originally released on December 22, 2023, 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' is directed by Prashanth Neel, known for the 'KGF' series.

'Salaar' is a movie based in the fictional city or state of Khansaar, a dystopian city-state ruled by a monarchy and divided among three tribes. The story centres on the bond between Deva and Varadha. Varadha, a prince, faces a coup d'état orchestrated by his father's ministers and relatives seeking to prevent him from ascending to the throne. To counter this threat, Varadha enlists the help of Deva to defeat his enemies and secure his rule over Khansaar.

'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' is the first part of a planned duology, with the sequel, 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam,' currently in development. The film also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Eeswari Rao, John Vijay, and Tinnu Anand.

While fans can revisit 'Salaar' in theatres, Prabhas is busy with other projects, including the film rumoured to be titled, 'Fauji,' where he is expected to play a soldier in the British Indian army. He also has 'The Raja Saab,' directed by Maruti, as well as 'Spirit' and 'Kalki 2898 AD - Part 2' in the works. Prithviraj Sukumaran will appear in 'L2: Empuraan,' directed by himself and starring Mohanlal.
