Popular film editor Sri GG Krishna Rao passes away

Popular film editor Sri GG Krishna Rao passed away today early in the morning in Bengaluru. Krishna Rao, 53 years old has worked on more than 200 films as a Film editor and he often collaborated with some of the legendary Tollywood directors such as K. Viswanath, Bapu, Jandhyala, Dasari Narayana Rao and many more.
He worked more closely with production houses like Poornodaya, and Vijaya Madhavi productions in Tollywood back then.
Despite being from Karnataka and Benguluru, he was part of many classic Telugu movies such as 'Sankarabharanam', 'SagaraSangamam', 'Swathimuthyam', 'Subhaleka', 'Bobbilipuli', 'Sardarpaparayudu', 'Sutradharulu', 'Seethamaalakshmi', 'Sruthilayalu', 'Muddhamandaram', 'Nalugu Stambalata', 'Sirivennela', 'Subhasankalpam', 'Swarabhishekam', 'Sriramarajyam'and a lot more. His passion for films made him work in other departments such as Associate Director and Production designer as well.
Besides Telugu, he edited a few Hindi, Tamil and Kannada movies as well.
His popular Hindi movies include 'Milan', 'Eeshwar', 'Sur Sangam', 'Jwar Bhata' 1973, 'Mastana' 1970 and others.
Popular Tamil movies such as 'Ezhumalaiyan Mahimai' 1997, 'Salangai Oli' 1983 and others.
