Pooja Hegde's will be a surprise: Harish

Valmiki, starring Varun Tej, Pooja Hegde, Atharvaa Murali and Mrinalini Ravi, is going to hit screens this weekend.
Produced by 14 Reels Entertainment, the film is directed by Harish Shankar. Speaking about the film, director Harish said, "We made many changes to Gabbar Singh while remaking it from Dabangg, but we didn’t make as many to Valmiki. Jigarthanda is beautiful and the screenplay is perfect.I have only made minor changes to the nativity. Bobby Simha’s character too has been modified to suit Varun.”
Revealing why they wanted to keep Pooja Hegde’s character a surprise, he added, “Pooja Hegde is the most important character in the second half, she will be a complete surprise. That is why I am not revealing much about her. However, her character and song are only put in because the story demands it, not for commercial reasons. Apart from the Velluvachi Godaramma remix, the film also has four other songs, and a few action episodes.”
Talking about casting Atharvaa in the film he said, "Telugu also has many talented youngsters, we had also auditioned some of them. But in the movie, he should not just look like an aspiring director, he also needs to be a good actor. Which is why we selected him.”
