Pooja Hegde replaces Samantha in Nandini Reddy's directorial

Actress Samantha, after a long break in her acting career, is said to make a comeback this year. However, the actress has yet to officially announce her next project. Meanwhile, she has launched her own production house, Tralala. The new buzz is that actress Pooja Hegde is said to replace Samantha as the lead in the upcoming Telugu film directed by Nandini Reddy that stars Sidhu Jonnalagadda.


News 18 reports suggest that Samantha was the initial choice for the movie, but as her absence due to a sabbatical has been extended indefinitely, the makers are considering casting Pooja Hegde as she seems to be a perfect fit for the role. However, there has been no official confirmation.


Fans in recent times have been upset with Pooja Hegde for not choosing the right films that suit her and have commented that the actress chooses all films that come her way. The social media reports of her being part of Nandini Reddy's directorial have instilled hope in the hearts of the actress' fans that she could again become a top star.

On the work front, Pooja Hegde will be seen in 'Deva' directed by Rosshan Andrews. The Bollywood movie stars Shahid Kapoor and Kubbra Sait in lead roles, and it is scheduled for release in theaters on October 11, 2024.
