'Ponniyin Selvan', 'Brahmastra', 'Vikrant Rona', and 'Kaduva'; 10 upcoming Indian movies of 2022 that eye the Tollywood market

The upcoming Hindi comedy-drama film by Aamir Khan and Advait Chandan has Naga Chaitanya playing an important character in the film. He is reportedly making his Bollywood debut with this film, but at the same time there are enough chances for the film to get released in Telugu due to his popularity in Tollywood or even the Telugu film fans would love to catch it due to Naga’s presence in the Aamir Khan’s film.

This Maniratnam epic period drama film based on the historical novel of the same name is co-produced and directed by Mani Ratnam starring half of the Kollywood lead actors. The film is getting dubbed and released in Telugu under the same title on September 30, 2022. The film features Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram Prabhu and others playing important roles in the film.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is a fantasy adventure Hindi film written and directed by Ayan Mukerji that also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni playing an important role while it is being presented by SS.Rajamouli. The film will have a huge star cast such as Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and others playing other important roles that will hit the Theaters in Telugu states on 9th September 2022.

'Shamshera' is a Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor action period film directed by Karan Malhotra that tells the story of a dacoit tribe and their fight for the Independence against British rule. The film has its music by Mithoon and it is getting released in Telugu under the same title. The makers have already released its Telugu trailer.

Unlike earlier Salman Khan films that used to remake popular Telugu actor's movies in Hindi, this time the makers of Salman Khan film (his production) are heavily casting Telugu actors such as Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Ram Charan (Cameo) in his upcoming film ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ that is written by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Farhad Samji based on the superhit Tamil film ‘Veeram’ by Siva.

Sharukh Khan and Atlee’s upcoming film ‘Jawan’ stars Nayanthara as the leading lady and is expected to have Rana Daggubati in an interesting role, if the reports are to be believed the film will either get the Telugu version though dubbing due to the presence of Rana or will get released with its posters in the Telugu states.

This is an upcoming action fantasy adventure Kannada film written and directed by Anup Bhandari starring Sudeep in the titular role. The film will have Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashoka, Abhinay Raj Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez playing other important roles in the film. The film is getting dubbed and released under the same title in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam on 28 July 2022.

'Kaduva' is a 2022 Malayalam action film directed by Shaji Kailas. The film written by Jinu V. Abraham stars Prithviraj Sukumaran playing the titular character. The film also has Vivek Oberoi and Samyuktha Menon playing other important roles, and it is now getting dubbed and released in Telugu. The film reportedly talks about the influential Rubber Planter.

This comedy-drama film written, directed and edited by Alphonse Puthren targets the Telugu market as well. As recently during the ‘Kaduva’ promotions, Prithviraj Sukumaran spoke about his future films in Telugu. Interestingly, his ‘Kaduva’ is getting dubbed into Telugu. 'Gold' has Nayanthara to cash on her fans so, the makers will surely dub 'Gold' too in Telugu.

This Hindi film starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nushrratt Bharuccha is written and directed by Abhishek Sharma has Telugu actor Satyadev Kancharana playing an important role in the film, Satyadev has a decent market in Telugu which has all the chances for the film to get dubbed in Telugu and release for Satya’s fans in Telugu states.
