PICS: Aadi Saikumar and Kaushal Manda back on the sets of GB Krishna’s Black

As film shoots resume in Unlock 4, Aadi Saikumar and Kaushal Manda are back on the sets of the action drama directed by GB Krishna.

Aadi, who resumed work in July itself, will essay the role of a police officer in the film that had completed almost 70 per cent of the shoot schedule before the lockdown was announced. Now the winner Kaushal and Aadi were spotted in the city wrapping up the final schedule of the film.

Kaushal Manda posted a picture of him and Aadi on twitter for his fans and wrote, “We are in the final schedule for BLACK! and we are shooting full on following all the Covid recautions...Looking forward to see you all with this power packed thriller entertainment... #aadiblack #aadi16 @aadipudipeddi (sic).”

When we spoke to the actor Aadi back in July, he told us, “This was supposed to be a five-day-long schedule but it has now been extended for three more days. Shooting a film with only a crew of fifty members is no mean feat but we’re managing to get by.” The actor also revealed how he was reluctant to say yes for the shoot until he was assured by the producers that all precautions will be taken care of. He says, “I’m a little relaxed now that I’ve seen first-hand the kind of measures being taken. The unit members all maintain social distancing because we’re shooting indoors. Everyone wears masks and so do I between shots and sanitise ourselves properly."

Aadi, who has a three-year-old daughter Ayaana takes utmost care once he reaches home after the shoot. He says, “When I go home, I sleep in a separate room due to fear of infecting my wife Aruna and our daughter Ayaana. I take a shower as soon as I reach home and I make sure that I follow social distancing.”
