South star
Ram Charan loves to keep his fans engaged with one entertainer after another. As we speak, he is working on his upcoming next 'Peddi' in Mysore. While the shooting is keeping him all occupied, the actor on Sunday took some time out to meet a special personality, who was none other than the Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Ram Charan meets Chief Minister Siddaramaiah
Their meet and greet was brief yet memorable. Both the prominent personalities from different worlds shared smiles and a candid conversation. Pictures from their meeting are going viral on social media. They were shared by the Chief Minister himself on the social media platform X, with a sweet message that read - "Telugu actor Ram Charan, who is participating in the shooting of 'Peddi' movie, met me today in Mysore and had a conversation for a while."
Ram Charan and his new avatar
In addition to his big-screen surprises, Ram Charan knows how to keep his fans entertained via his social media. Last month, the Telugu superstar shared his powerful new look for his upcoming film, which was nothing short of a treat for his fans.
Flaunting his sculpted arm, thick beard, and a man bun, he gave a sneak peek into the transformation he underwent for his next. "Changeover for @peddimovie begins!! Pure grit. True joy," he wrote as he shared the picture.
About Peddi
Alongside Ram Charan, 'Peddi' has an ensemble cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu in key roles. Earlier this year, as the teaser of the movie, titled 'Peddi First Shot,' was released, it impressed all owing to several factors; Ram Charan in a rugged avatar certainly was one of them. The teaser showed him walking into a dusty field, lighting a beedi. Thereafter comes the dialogue - "I have only one life to live, and I want to make the most of it."
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is set to release on March 27, 2026.
