Photos: Karthi meets Mahesh Babu on the sets of Maharshi

Tamil hero Karthi commands a good market and decent fan-following in the Telugu states owing to his versatility in picking up interesting subjects. After the super success of action-thriller ‘Khakee’ in 2017 and the decent family-drama ‘Chinna Babu’ last year, the 41-year-old actor is all set to hit the screens with his forthcoming film ‘Dev’. The Telugu and Tamil versions of this adventurous romantic-thriller are releasing on Valentine’s Day.
Meanwhile, Karthi is spending a good amount of time in Hyderabad to promote the film. During his time in the city, he paid a surprise visit to the sets of ‘Maharshi’ and interacted with both Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Vamshi Paidipally. The concerned photos are going viral on social media.
Starring Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead, Karthi plays an adventure junkie in ‘Dev’. With music composed by Harris Jayaraj, the Rajath Ravishankar directorial features Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.
Earlier, Kannada actor Sriimurali met the ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ star on the floors of Maharshi in Ramoji Film City. Sharing the photos on his Twitter handle, Sriimurali wrote “While shooting For #Bharaate in #RFC Was Happy to meet Our most Humble Super Star @urstrulyMahesh at his #Maharshi sets...
