Power star Pawan Kalyan’s 2008 blockbuster 'Jalsa' was re-released in theatres today (Sep 1) at a few selected theatres in domestic as well as international markets. Most of the shows were houseful, and PSPK fans were seen celebrating the film no less like a festival. The videos of fans going berserk on Pawan’s entry scene, fights and songs in the film have surfaced on social media.
The makers recently announced that special fan shows for 'Jalsa' will be screened in theatres, also to celebrate the actor's birthday, which is on September 2.
'Jalsa' was released on April 2 2008, and the film managed to win the hearts of the audience. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas,
Ileana D'Cruz and Parvati Melton played the leading ladies opposite Pawan in the movie.
This Pawan Kalyan-starrer is about a youngster who joins an extremist group after having had a tough childhood chooses a better path with the help of a police officer. Kamalinee Mukerji, Mukesh Rishi, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Ali, Sunil, Tanikella Bharani, Sivaji and other were seen in pivotal roles. The technical crew of this film included Devi Sri Prasad for music, K.V. Guhan and Rasool Ellore for cinematography and A Sreekar Prasad for editing.
