Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao’s wife Vijayalakshmi passes away

Writer-actor Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao’s wife Paruchuri Vijayalakshmi passed away in Hyderabad today. She was 74. Vijayalakshmi who reportedly suffered from age-related ailments since the last few days, breathed her last at her Hyderabad residence after a massive cardiac arrest.
As soon as the news broke, Mega Star Chiranjeevi called Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao over the phone and expressed his grief.Later in a statement, the star actor said that Venkateswara Rao is very close to him and he shared so much with their family. He recollected Smt Vijayalakshmi’s contribution to the success of Venkateswara Rao. ''May her soul rest in peace, my condolences to the bereaved family,'' said Chiranjeevi in his statement.
Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao has a brother named Paruchuri Gopala Krishna. The writer duo Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, or Paruchuri Brothers as they are popularly known as, have proven their talent, time and again, in different creative zones like writing and direction departments. As accomplished writers, they wrote several popular films, including Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Sita, Rudrama Devi, Mass, Naa Autograph, Tagor to name a few.
