'Papam Prathap' OTT release date: When and where to stream Thiruveer and Payal Radhakrishna's rural drama

'Papam Prathap' was released in cinemas on April 17 this year and the film introduced viewers to a story rooted in relationships and rural life. It is written and directed by S. P. Durga Naresh. The film stars Thiruveer and Payal Radhakrishna in the lead roles.

The plot follows Prathap, who has loved Bujjamma since childhood. After years of waiting, he finally wins her affection. The two decide to get married and this starts a new phase in their lives

However, their relationship soon faces challenges. Within days of the wedding, disagreements begin to surface. Bujjamma leaves for her parental home, citing an issue with Prathap. She does not reveal the exact reason and this creates a curiousity among the viewers.

The film has received a positive response from viewers. One viewer shared, "Entertaining and emotions are nicely captured. You will be entertained by Tiruveer and Ajay Gosh garu. Also wife and husband emotions are nicely captured. Ending is not routine. Humor goes well with script. Honest attempt by director to show village back drop and 1980s parenting.
