Panja Vaishnav Tej exposes the fake Twitter account on his name

Taking to Instagram story on Thursday, Telugu actor Panja Vaishnav Tej shared the screenshot of a Twitter handle that is allegedly being maintained under his name. The fake profile with close to 15K followers has an authentic look when it comes to having the same caption of the actor’s Instagram handle and the tweets also seem to be very mature. Vaishnav exposed the fake account and clarified that he is not on Twitter.

Vaishnav Tej has recently made his Tollywood debut with ‘Uppena’ and the film went on to register a monstrous success at the box-office. Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the romantic-drama featuring Vijay Sethupathi in a prominent role has notched up a worldwide share of over Rs 100 crore in its theatrical run. The film has been on a record-smashing spree and despite competition from new releases, it is still managing to hold its ground. Along with moviegoers, celebs like Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun have heaped praise on the love story.
Recently, congratulating his nephew on the massive success of Uppena, Chiranjeevi met Vaishnav at his residence and gifted him a swanky wristwatch.
Set against the backdrop of a fishing hamlet named Uppada, ‘Uppena’ is backed by appreciable performances from the lead actors, mesmerising music by Devi Sri Prasad and the riveting narration which discusses toxic masculinity. Though the plot of the film is a tried and tested formula of a poor boy falling for a rich girl, Buchi Babu brought enough inventiveness by roping in Vijay Sethupathi to keep the proceedings fresh and engaging. While Vaishnav Tej bagged decent marks for his portrayal of Aasi, Krithi Shetty walked away with brownie points as Bebamma.
