Director Maruthi is excited about his first ever courtroom drama

Pakka Commercial tells the story of how a father proves to his money-minded son that the judiciary is above one’s own personal materialistic goals,” shares Maruthi.
In this tussle between the righteous and the greedy, Maruthi says he made sure the story was told in an entertaining way. “Not everyone is a fan of courtroom dramas, so I made a conscious choice to add in loads of humour, songs and fights so that the family audiences can enjoy the film. I didn’t want the film to come across as preachy, so I added a lot of fun elements that will make the audience laugh out loud,” he says.
Although the film will be loaded with commercial elements that usually make up
masala entertainers in Tollywood, Maruthi says he’s done a lot of research for it. “I consulted legal advisors for some of the scenes because they’re key to the story. As for the rest of the film, it’s going to be ‘pakka commercial’,” he adds.
