Padi Padi Leche Manasu preview: Will Hanu be able to recreate the magic?
Hanu Raghavapudi’s upcoming love story ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ releases on December 21 and has high expectations pinned on it.
Director Hanu made his debut in Tollywood with a classic like ‘Andala Raksashi’, starring Lavanya Tripathi, Rahul Ravindran and Naveen Chandra in lead roles. Through the years, the film has set a kind of benchmark for love stories in Telugu and now with the creation of ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’, expectations are high again. Starring Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi in lead roles, the film charts the journey of two individuals with warring ideologies that cause a rift in their relationship.
The music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and trailer of the film were received exceptionally well, with many noticing how beautifully the director managed to capture Kolkata with the visuals. Talking to Hyderabad Times, Hanu revealed that it was his friend Venkat Siddareddy who came up with the title three years ago and that the director later went from there. “I felt like the line – Padi Padi Leche Manasu – had depth to it, a story behind it, it just felt so poetic. I’ve mulled on the title for three years and written the story,” he said.
The director also revealed that apart from just using Kolkata for the ambience, he also captured the spirit of the place in his film. “. In fact, Padi Padi is the first of my three stories based at the place to come to fruition. When you tell a love story, the ambience should matter and when one talks of love, they talk of Paris. But for me, Kolkata is it!” he said. Prabhas, apart from few others in Tollywood recently wished the team of the film all the best for the film.
