‘Oye Ninne’ movie review highlights: So far, a feel-good movie

and Srushti Dange, finally hit the screens on October 6. The film is the story of Vishnu (Bharat), a young man who aspires to become a farmer right from childhood. His father, a school principal, and his loving mother want him to aim for something bigger. But Vishnu is adamant about doing what he feels is right and has no regrets for his actions. Vishnu shares a love-hate relationship with his cousin Veda (

), who grows up in his home and is the apple of his parents' eye. Vishnu however always feels unappreciated due to her.

The movie explores the theme of relationships in a rural setting. The family drama and college scenes seem superbly relatable. The first half of the film has some funny moments with the lead actors doing an okay job. It's the lead's friend, played by Satya Akkala, who has stolen the show so far. Two songs and a whole lot of drama, which explores the love-hate relationship between Vishnu and Veda, are what the first half is all about. It remains to be seen how the second half will fare.
