No qualms about doing item numbers: Meenakshi

After making her debut with Telugu film Lifestyle, actor Meenakshi Dixit is visibly excited about her character in her forthcoming movie, Adavi Kaachina Vennela, directed by Akki Viswanadha Reddy. ���I play Vennela, an aspiring Olympic sharpshooter in the film and it was an amazing experience! I���m thrilled to play such a role early in my career,��� says the pretty actor.
Meenakshi,who shared screen space with Mahesh Babu, NTR Jr and Ajith in item numbers, explains that she has no qualms about doing ���special songs���. ���I���m an actor and when asked, I have to do everything, be it a leading lady or special appearances. In fact, I debuted as a lead actress in Tollywood, and later ventured into Tamil and Malayalam cinema. I was the lead in Devaraya too. I understand the dynamics of acting in industries in the South and it���s a great experience,��� shares the model-turned-actor.
Understanding the language initially, though, was a challenging. ���Initially, picking up Telugu was difficult, but my filmmakers and co-stars helped me a lot in my lines. Now, I���m comfortable in Telugu, and am also learning Tamil,��� quips Meenakshi.
