Nitya set for Tollywood debut

Nitya Naresh is set to make her Tollywood debut with Kerintha, directed by Saikiran Adivi. The Kerala-born actress will be seen as a tomboy in the romantic drama. Prod her on how she bagged the offer, Nitya says, ���One of my friends,who is a photographer, clicked my portfolio and uploaded it on a social networking site.Later, I got a call from the film���s unit and here I am.All through my academic career, I was active in dance, singing and theatre, but never thought I would get into acting. So, I���m here by chance. I play a college-goer in the film and I���m involved
in a love triangle. I play a tomboyish character and I���m done with the shoot.���
Nithya,who completed a course in film direction and worked as an assistant director for a few ad agencies, shares that she wasn���t nervous while facing the camera. ���All this while, I was auditioning others as an AD, but it was the first time I had to give my own audition. I wasn���t nervous since I knew the basics and I was able to get through. But it was a different experience nonetheless,��� the actress signs off.
